with OmegaPro software

OmegaPro was developed as a special tool for permanent installation on the shaft to measure vibrations and shaft power, and translate the values to the control system via different protocols.


OmegaPro can be installed on ship’s propellers shafts to enable accurate assessment of the efficiency of the system in terms of input (usually fuel or electrical) and output (mechanical shaft power).


Note: Shaft power is the mechanical power transmitted from one rotating element of a vehicle, a ship, and all types of machinery to another. It is usually calculated as the sum of the torque and the rotational speed of the shaft.

cDAQ Controller

We use NI cDAQ Controller that has integrated multi-core processor with modular I/O, standard peripheral connectivity, and display capabilities.

The CompactDAQ Controller is a rugged, reliable, high-performance embedded controller with industry-standard certifications. It is ideal for performing waveform acquisition and inline software analysis while logging data to onboard or removable SD memory. We use modules that deliver high-accuracy I/O with measurement-specific signal conditioning to connect to any sensor type. The controller also offers a wide array of standard connectivity and expansion options, such as USB, Ethernet, RS232 and Serial.
